A spiritual journey to South India

A journey that brings together Yoga, meditation and an Ayurvedic detox in Kerala, one of the most authentic and transformative destinations in South India: 4 days of travel through Kochi, the backwaters and Munnar, followed by an 8-night Rasayana Panchakarma retreat —longevity and rejuvenation— at a traditional clinic in Varkala.

Route: Kochi · Backwaters · Munnar Retreat: Varkala (Rasayana Panchakarma, 8 nights and 7 days)

We start in Kochi, a vibrant city where tradition and modernity meet. Among the Chinese fishing nets, the temples and the sunsets over the sea we begin our Yoga and meditation practice.

We continue to Munnar, among tea plantations and nature parks of overwhelming beauty, and sail the backwaters of Kerala: a calm, deep setting, perfect for meditation and introspection.

The journey culminates in Varkala, where we immerse ourselves in an authentic Ayurveda retreat. You will receive personalised treatments to detoxify the body, balance the mind and restore your energy, alongside daily Yoga and meditation and talks on the foundations of Ayurveda with Pablo Ferrero and the clinic's team.

The Panchakarma retreat

Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India, teaches that purifying body and mind is essential to preserve health, vital energy and emotional balance. Panchakarma is its most complete treatment: an intensive therapeutic process that helps eliminate accumulated toxins (ama) and restore the body's natural balance.

The clinic's team, together with Pablo Ferrero, designs a programme tailored to your constitution (dosha) and your needs, with professional follow-up throughout the process.

Initial online consultation. Before the trip we hold a Zoom consultation to assess your health and prepare your treatment in advance. On arrival in Kerala only a final review is needed to start straight away.

Benefits of the Ayurvedic detox

  • Brighter, healthier skin
  • Stronger, shinier hair
  • Better digestion
  • Greater mental clarity
  • Deep, restful sleep
  • More energy and vitality

At the end you will receive a personalised Ayurvedic self-care protocol, with habits and foods, to keep looking after yourself for the rest of the year.

The venue: Credible Heritage Resort, Varkala

A serene refuge in the heart of Varkala, a few steps from the cliff and the Janardhanaswamy temple, and a 12-minute walk from quiet Odayam beach. Bright rooms with air conditioning, private bathroom, wifi and balcony, surrounded by garden in a smoke-free environment. Thiruvananthapuram International Airport is about 40 km away.
