Cancellation policy

What happens if you cannot come: deadlines, refund percentages and non-transferable bookings.

To be reviewed. The deadlines and percentages below are those of the policy the organisation publishes today for its trips. A professional should review this text before it is considered final.

Cancelling a trip is never good news, so the least we can do is make the rules clear from the start.

If you cancel

| When you cancel | What is refunded | | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- | | Within 14 days of paying the deposit | The deposit, less 30% kept for administration | | After those 14 days, 30 days or more before departure | 50% of what you have paid | | After those 14 days, less than 30 days before departure | Nothing |

The booking is not transferable to other retreats, courses or trainings: to join another event you need a new booking. Accepting this policy is required to complete your registration.

Refunds are made by the same method you paid with, within 30 days of our confirming the cancellation.

If the trip does not run

Each edition needs a minimum group, shown on the ritual page. If it does not fill, the trip does not run and 100% of what you paid is refunded, with nothing retained.

The same applies if we cancel for reasons of force majeure: we refund what you paid, deducting only committed, documented third-party costs.

What is not ours to refund

Flights, insurance and visas are booked by you directly (see the terms and conditions). Their cancellation terms are each provider's own, and we cannot refund money that never passed through our hands.

Which is why we insist on two things: do not buy flights until the group is confirmed — we will tell you — and take out insurance that covers cancellation.

How to cancel

Write to info@matrikayoga.com and tell us what happened. The date of your email is what counts for deadlines.
